There was more excitement, shot-making, tension in the final game than the three sets combined. Murray finally achieved the dream for every Brit of winning the Wimbledon Championship mens title 6-4 7-5 6-4.

I had to wait 77 years for the trophy to come back to the United Kingdom.

And it took a Scotsman, Andy Murray, to achieve this rare happening. He fought back after failing to convert 3 match points and utilized the last ounces of energy to clinch the fourth match point and victory.

Back in 1936 when Fred Perry, an all time tennis great, won the Mens single title I was a struggling one year old. Was I at Wimbledon, probably not; but I shed a few emotional tears 77 years later to commemorate such a fantastic win.
