Due to the CoronaVirus pandemic, the largest fashion corporations have decided to donate large sums of money to help scientists come up with a solution as soon as possible.
LVMH, Kering and Swarovski are just three names among several, who together donated $ 2.8 billion to fight Covid19. WHO says there are millions of people affected worldwide. LVMH, owner of Louis Vuitton and Dior brands, among others, donated $ 2.3 million, while their main rival, Kering, a company who owns Gucci, donated over $ 1 million, and Swarovski joined the story with nearly half a million dollars. Much of the funding was sent directly to the Chinese Red Cross Foundation.
