This mountainside luxury hotel room has no walls or a roof but just the scenic mountainside

If you’re tired of the Quarantine but still need to chill – here’s a holiday goal for you! Consider staying at this exclusive countryside hotel room that comes with no walls or a roof. Yes, that’s right! In ensuring that guests can adhere to social distancing norms, Europe’s Zero Real Estate is offering a pandemic-perfect accommodation situated amid the magnificent Swiss hills.

Frank and Patrik Riklin

Designed by three founders, artists Frank and Patrik Riklin (Atelier für Sonderaufgaben) and Daniel Charbonnier, the hotel aims to “push the boundaries of real estate while focusing on re-thinking the meaning of true luxury in the hotel industry.” Its open-air rooms are scattered around eastern Switzerland locations including St. Gallen-Lake Constance, Toggenburg, Heidiland, Appenzellerland AR, Thurgau, Schaffhauserland, and Liechtenstein. They are sanitized thoroughly and attended by local butlers (Modern butlers), who are available to serve food and wine to the guests on demand.

Charbonnier

Commenting on it, Charbonnier said, “The idea was that each destination would re-use existing resources from surrounding hotels and stage it in a new and extraordinary location” He further added, “The Modern Butlers are members of the local communities and most of the room night fee is used to pay their salary.” The open-air rooms (seven in total) are now available for booking, with tariffs starting at $308 a night. If you wish to travel while following social distancing norms, this is THE deal for you!
